Pooja Cheema

Since qualification as a solicitor in 2014, Pooja has specialised in commercial property law. She acts on various commercial property matters including landlord and tenant matters, commercial sales and purchases, real estate finance, pension company transactions and agricultural transactions.

Pooja regularly completes a variety of transactions for pension funds and provides corporate support on company restructures.

With 10 years’ experience in commercial property, Pooja excels in handling more complex transactions including negotiating overage provisions, and is able to anticipate and address the nuances of such agreements. She also has significant experience in complex high value landlord and tenant matters and is regularly involved in negotiating intricate and complicated Agreements for Lease, Leases and Licences. Pooja is also experienced in rectifying defects in title which includes making applications to HM Land Registry for adverse possession, highlighting her proactive approach to resolving intricate title issues.
