Race for Life

On Sunday 7th July members of the Pickerings team took part in the Sutton Coldfield Race for Life in Sutton Park. Overall the event raised £135,000 with Pickerings so far contributing £1010.00.

All completed the event, with Lucy, Gaynor, Stacey and Emily setting the pace. The weather stayed fine for the race and they were spurred on up the hills by a choir singing in the sunshine. Later however the team was caught in a torrential downpour whilst trying savour a Mr Whippy at the finish line!
