Prize winners at Tamworth Athletics Club

On Thursday 9th January Sue Hatton visited Tamworth Athletics Club to present the prizes to the 'Athletes of the Month'.

Each month Pickerings Solicitors sponsor this award,which is given to the athlete who has shown the highest levels of commitment or achievement.

Tamworth Athletics Club is one of the Midlands most thriving and successful clubs and competes in many different leagues throughout the country. It was the first Athletics Club in Staffordshire and the 24th in England to achieve the much-coveted Sport England Athletics Clubmark status.

Secretary Christine makes headlines in The Sun

We are proud to report that Christine Blackmore, legal secretary in our family team was recently featured in an article in the national press.

Christine, from Tamworth, was featured in The Sun newspaper in an article on 26th December which promoted the use of 'real' women in clothing advertisements, rather than 'skinny celebs'.

We agree that she makes a great model but thankfully she has returned to her day job as a legal secretary within the family team.
