Yesterday evening was the eighth annual Pickerings Charity Quiz Night at the Castle Hotel Tamworth. Quizmaster for the evening was Chris Wardle. Twenty two teams competed for the trophy. Winners were The Official Receivers, and runners-up, The Rubber Ducks. Wooden spoons were won by Aaron's team from St Giles Hospice.

We would like to extend thanks to all who participated, all who made donations to St Giles, to Chris Wardle and to the team at The Castle Hotel for making this such a fabulous evening at which a GRAND TOTAL OF £1,858.35 was raised for St Giles Hospice.
