Yesterday evening Pickerings Solicitors held their annual charity quiz night at Drayton Manor Hotel, Tamworth to raise funds for St Giles Hospice. A total of 25 teams battled it out for the trophy and the Winners were the 'Official Retrievers'. This was the eleventh year that Pickerings have held a charity quiz event with Chris Wardle as our Quizmaster and we hope to continue the tradition for many more years.
We would like to thank everyone who took part or helped us in any way to raise a whopping £1,310.00 for St Giles.
Particular thanks go to Sarah Gill of Christopher's at the Peel Hotel, to Tamworth Cooperative,First Class Technologies and Drayton Manor for kind donations of raffle prizes and for allowing us to use their fantastic venue.
Congratulations also to Haines Watts Accountants, who have taken part each year and this year scooped the wooden spoons!
