TBBC welcomes MP Chris Pincher

On Friday 16th March 2012, Christopher Pincher MP addressed the Tamworth Business Breakfast Club at The Castle Hotel, Ladybank, Tamworth. The meeting was attended by 14 members of local businesses from various sectors.

The MP covered a range of relevant topics including the budget, getting the unemployed back into the workforce, and ways of supporting SME enterprise, particularly in targeting government procurement contracts. He also announced plans for a local business conference to take place in June or July.

Mr Pincher was keen to take on board the views of the group, so delegates had the opportunity to raise and debate the issues affecting their business. Concern was expressed at rising fuel costs and lack of regular public transport, both of which are having an impact on businesses and employment prospects locally.
