1. ADMINISTRATOR - RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY

We are looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our Residential Conveyancing team.
This position would suit someone looking for their first role in a legal firm.  It would also suit someone looking to expand and develop their administrative skills.      
The job holder will assist the fee earners and secretaries in delivering a high-quality legal service to our clients.  Specific responsibilities include responding to initial enquiries, providing quotations, file- opening, scanning and filing the post, putting together contract packs and other general administration tasks.  In time the job holder may also be required to do some audio typing for which full training would be given.  
Applicants must be client-focused, with an excellent telephone manner, strong organisational skills, good attention to detail and a helpful and flexible approach.  Good IT skills are essential together with the ability to prioritise your own workload and work unsupervised as part of a small office team is essential.

 

35 hours per week Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm

 

2. FLOAT SECRETARY / RECEPTIONIST

We have a vacancy for a Float Secretary/Receptionist to join our team. 
The job holder will provide secretarial and administrative support to various teams, as and when required, and will assist fee earners in delivering a high-quality legal service to our clients.  Responsibilities include client liaison, organising meetings, audio and copy typing, file opening, filing and the completion of legal forms.   The job holder will also provide break and holiday cover on reception.
To be considered for this role you must have previous secretarial or administrative experience.  Reception work and experience of working with case management systems would be an advantage.  You must be well-presented, client-focused with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.  You will have good audio typing and IT skills, together with excellent attention to detail. You must be organised, able to prioritise, and must display a helpful and flexible approach. 

35 hours per week Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm
