At Pickerings we believe in making a positive impact on the wider community and we have a long tradition of supporting local and national charities. We are partnered with two exceptional charities, Alzheimer's Society and St Giles Hospice.
Alzheimer's Society is dedicated to supporting people affected by dementia including Alzheimer's disease The society provides vital information care and support services to individuals living with dementia and their families with their relentless advocacy research funding and community engagement .Alzheimer's Society strives to improve the lives of those affected by this condition and work towards finding a cure. We are proud to support their endeavours and to contribute to their invaluable work by participating in the charity's free will scheme. Will to remember is Alzheimer's society's free will scheme where the charity partners with the network of solicitors who are united against dementia and offered trusted legal advice. St Giles Hospice, based in Whittington, provides support and care for local people whose illness may not be curable, whenever and wherever they need it most. The charity helps more than 7,000 people a year facing the challenge of a potentially incurable illness and provides bereavement support to more than 2,000 people every year. For many years Pickerings Solicitors has participated in the St Giles Make a Will Scheme. We also support the charity by organising our annual fund-raising quiz and by participating in various events such as the Solstice Walk.
